The workshop aims to make a case for use of empirical data gathering through experimental physical prototypes and then transferring that knowledge through digital tools using Rhino &amp; Grasshopper. As a result the digital model will deliver all the necessary information for fabrication of these structures using take home DIY kits that will be provided at the end of the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Author&#8217;s Biography:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jelena Pepic is a teaching assistant at the University of Novi Sad, Department of Architecture with a focus on computation-based approaches in design and fabrication. As a PhD student her research considers diverse applications of lightweight tensile structures. She was a part of the organizing committee for eCAADe2021 as well as a participant at workshops such as Designing of emergency shelters 2018, Shell Puzzle 2019, ID Pavilion 2020 and Terracotta panels project in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Workshop duration:<\/strong> 6 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> 5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong> Participants should bring their laptops with Rhinoceros 6 or 7 installed as well as Kangaroo add-on for Grasshopper.
